Fuel injector cleaner

How to clean your injectors properly

How to Use Fuel Injector Cleaning Chemicals
You can use fuel-injector cleaning chemicals to clear injectors of deposits from fuel and its additives. The products are made with concentrated detergents to break up minerals that form and clog the tiny nozzles on fuel injectors. That reduces the flow of fuel to the engine cylinder, causing hard starts, sputtering and knocks. Auto makers have improved injector design, but gasoline quality has declined. Although most major petrol companies add detergents to avoid deposits in fuel systems, injectors can still get clogged.
Do fuel injectors cleaners Really Work?
There are some additives on the market that do indeed help keep engines clean. Some can even remove existing deposits left by lower-quality gasolines and help restore your car’s original performance. Chemistry plays a large role in an additive’s effectiveness. Some fuel system cleaners contain polybutene amine (PBA) chemistry and can remove deposits from fuel injectors.

Instructions
1) Find a cleaner with ingredients formulated to work as you desire. Some use lubricants, and many are designed to work on the entire fuel system.
2) Read and follow label directions regarding how many gallons of gas to mix it with.
3) Check your fuel level. If your car has a 15-gallon tank and the gauge is at the half mark, you have 7.5 gallons in the tank. Add more fuel if necessary to meet the requirements of the product you're using.
4) Pour the fuel-injector cleaner into the gas tank. The detergents will clean injectors as you drive.

Tips & Warnings
• Consult a certified mechanic if sputtering and knocks do not stop after using a fuel additive. The injectors may need a professional pressure cleaning, or the engine may be experiencing a different problem.
• Never add fuel-injector cleaner to a tank with low fuel. The detergent can loosen sediment from the gas tank and the rest of the fuel system, causing a clog in the injectors.
Symptoms of clogged injectors
Symptoms of dirty fuel injectors may include:
• hard starting
• rough idle
• throttle “tip-in” hesitation
• pre-ignition (sometimes heard as that ‘pinging sound’)
• poor overall performance
• decreased gas mileage
How to keep your injectors cleaner longer
2004-and-newer vehicles are less likely to need fuel injectors cleaning as often, because newer designs and today’s better fuel additives reduce fouling.  Pre-2004 models benefit from the use of high quality fuel, as this decreases (but doesn’t eliminate) the need for periodic injector cleaning.  There are plenty of “cure-in-a-can” fuel system products, but you shouldn’t waste money or risk damage on these potions.

Try CARBON CLEANING!

For fuel injectors like new.

Preventive engine cleaning enables you to restore engine parts rather than replacing them, thereby saving vehicle owners on costly parts, such as a new turbocharger ($ 1.350 - 3.100), catalytic converter ($ 600 - 2.000), DPF ($ 600 - 2.000) or EGR valve ($ 370 - 500).

These problems result mainly from poor combustion, which stifles the engine.

So before replacing your engine parts, try Carbon Cleaning. A dirty engine as the result of carbon deposits is the new threat to vehicle performance.
